The centre is located in beautiful countryside and otters are regularly spotted in the water by the centre. We are 20 minutes from Lerwick. We are 40 minutes from Sumburgh head nature reserve where you can see thousands of seabirds and Jarlshof archaeological site where you can walk through 4000 years of Shetland history. Our central location makes us the perfect place to respond to the regular sightings of whales during the summer months.
