Summer days in Shetland
Shetland has been having some beautiful summer weather these last few weeks.
Wildflowers have started to fill the roadsides, the islands are bustling with seabirds and the sea is the most amazing shade of blue. At this time of year, there is practically no darkness and you can walk at midnight without a torch.
The Bridge End Outdoor Centre is close to two beautiful sandy beaches, Meal and Min. When the weather is nice, these beaches are filled with with families, enjoying the beach and having picnics. Although busier than usual in Shetland, these beaches are very quiet by mainland standards and it is easy to find a quiet spot to enjoy the view.
