Snow gives way to spring in Shetland

The heavy snow that affected much of the UK was little more than a light dusting in Shetland. As it melts it feels like spring is truly on its way. Crocuses have joined the snowdrops, adding a splash of colour to the landscape and there are buds on the trees. Oyster catchers have returned and skylarks will not be far behind them. There is daylight past 6pm and by June, it will barely get dark at all. After a long winter, everyone in Shetland is welcoming the new season!

At the Bridge End Outdoor Centre we have availability for individuals and groups to book the centre for £14pppn. We also have space for tents and caravans.

Large groups can book exclusive use of centre on our website but for individual or small group booking can be done by email info@bridgeendoutdoor.com or call 01595 859 486
